I made some memories along the way.
Here's some of the people that contributed to my success.

Dr. Jennifer Dyer-Seymour
Psychology Professor & Mentor
Dr. Dyer-Seymour welcomed me into her lab in 2021, and has given me guidance, encouragement, and confidence. She has inspired me daily and been invested in my success all while keeping me accountable and facilitating my growth as a researcher, scholar, and individual. Thank you Dr. Dyer!

My Lab Mates
Sofia Christofi, Maria Navarro, C Mazariegos, and Kyle Parker joined the lab in Spring 2022 and have both supported my journey while also giving me the opportunity to step in a mentorship role. Rodi Edil (not pictured) has been my lab partner since I joined the lab in 2021. Together, with the help of our mentor, we designed and executed our study. Though we have never met in person, Rodi has since become one of my biggest fans and best friends. To my lab mates- THANK YOU!

My Mom & Dad
aka the best parents ever
I could say a lot, but I'd never run out of words. My parents have been here through the worst and the best, and without them, none of this would have been possible. I love you both, thank you for all your support.

After over a year of virtual learning, I finally got to meet some CSUMB students in Oregon for the WPA conference in 2022. Dr. Philip Zimbardo and I at the WPA Convention in Oregon. I was able to watch Dr. Zimbardo give his last lecture- truly a once in a lifetime experience.

My friend and colleague Angel Diaz and I at graduation. After taking virtual courses together, Angel and I were able to meet in person in Oregon for the WPA convention. Since, we have become friends, and we even got to walk together at graduation.
